Welcome to Gharapna. By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Definitions
  • “Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our” – refers to Gharapna, its subsidiaries, employees, and representatives.

  • “User”, “You”, “Tenant”, “Guest” – refers to any individual using our website, app, or renting a property listed through us.

  • “Property Owner/Partner” – refers to landlords, managers, or operators listing properties with Gharapna.

  • “Services” – refers to accommodation discovery, verification, digital payments, and co-living/PG management support offered by Gharapna.

2. Use of Services
  • Users must be 18 years or older to use our platform.

  • Information provided during registration (name, ID proof, contact details, etc.) must be accurate and updated.

  • Misuse of the platform for fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activities is strictly prohibited.

3. Booking & Payments
  • All bookings are subject to availability and verification.

  • Rent, deposits, and service charges (if applicable) must be paid as per the agreed schedule.

  • Digital payments made through our platform are processed via secure third-party gateways.

  • Deposits are refundable subject to deduction of damages, unpaid dues, or breach of terms as per property rules.

4. Property Rules & Responsibilities
  • Tenants must comply with the house rules of the property, including hygiene, conduct, noise levels, and guest policies.

  • Illegal activities, possession of banned substances, or misconduct inside the premises will lead to immediate eviction without refund.

  • Property Owners are responsible for maintaining hygiene, providing agreed amenities, and ensuring safety within their premises.

5. Verification & Liability
  • Gharapna verifies property details to the best of its ability but does not guarantee uninterrupted services, maintenance, or owner commitments.

  • Gharapna is a facilitator and not the direct lessor/landlord. The rental agreement is between the tenant and the property owner.

  • We are not liable for disputes, damages, theft, or accidents occurring at the property.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
  • Cancellations must be requested in writing/email before the move-in date.

  • Refunds, if any, are processed as per the property’s cancellation policy.

  • Booking/service fees charged by Gharapna (if applicable) are non-refundable.

7. Privacy & Data Protection
  • User data (KYC, payment info, contact details) is collected solely for service delivery and legal compliance.

  • We do not sell or misuse personal data. Refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information.

8. Termination of Services
  • Gharapna reserves the right to suspend or terminate a user’s access in case of:

    • Violation of Terms & Conditions.

    • Fraudulent or illegal activity.

    • Misuse of services.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.

  • Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Mumbai courts only.

10. Changes to Terms
  • Gharapna reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

  • Users are encouraged to review this page periodically for changes.
