At Gharapna, we aim to ensure transparency and fairness in our booking and rental process. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds are applicable.
1. Booking FeesAny platform service fee/booking fee charged by Gharapna is non-refundable.
Security deposits are collected by property owners and are refundable at the end of your stay, subject to:
No damage to property or assets.
Clearance of rent, utility bills, and dues.
Compliance with the agreed notice period.
Deductions may apply for damages, late payments, or breach of property rules.
Rent once paid for the ongoing month is non-refundable, even if the tenant vacates early.
Prepaid rent for future months may be refunded if the tenant cancels before move-in, subject to property owner’s approval.
Cancellation requests made 7 days or more before the move-in date: Eligible for a full refund of rent and deposit (excluding booking fee).
Cancellation requests made within 7 days of move-in date: Partial refund, subject to deductions.
Cancellation after move-in: Only the deposit is refundable, as per property rules.
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days via the original payment method.
Gharapna acts as a facilitator between tenant and property owner.
Any disputes related to refunds must be resolved directly with the property owner; Gharapna can provide support but holds no liability.
